- What is the Conflict Avoidance Pledge? The Conflict Avoidance Pledge is a commitment, supported by RICS and industry bodies, to use proactive and collaborative approaches that prevent disputes from arising on construction projects.
- What is a dispute avoidance board? A dispute avoidance board is an independent panel appointed at the start of a project that visits regularly and helps parties resolve issues informally before they become formal disputes. NEC4 provides for this under Option W3.
